You can choose your level of giving:

* Pledge at least $15 each month to request our signature cuddly
plush polar bear
* Pledge $25 or more to request a hardback copy of DDT Wars:
Rescuing Our National Bird, Preventing Cancer and Creating the
Environmental Defense Fund
* Pledge $35 or more to qualify for a larger-than-life plush
monarch butterfly
* Limited quantity offer: The first 50 donors to pledge $50 or
more per month can request a hardback autographed copy of DDT Wars

EDF was founded in 1967 by wildlife lovers like you and me.
Thanks to their efforts, we won a national ban on the deadly pesticide
DDT - saving iconic North American birds of prey like the bald
eagle, ospreys and peregrine falcons from the brink of extinction.

Request DDT Wars with your new monthly gift to read all about that
first fight from someone who was there - EDF co-founder Charles
Wurster.

Today, we're still working to protect wildlife from human activity.

By offering farmers, ranchers and other landowners the opportunity to
earn income in exchange for preserving high-quality habitat for
threatened species on their land, we're empowering people who
work the land to be partners in our habitat protection work -
and making sure that animals like the monarch butterfly continue to
have a home while America grows and prospers.

The cost to restore and protect one acre of milkweed habitat is about
$35 - pledge that amount or more each month to request a plush
monarch butterfly.

And the biggest threat to wildlife is one that threatens humans, too:
the climate crisis. The polar bear was the first animal to be added to
the endangered species list due to climate change and has become a
global symbol of all that we stand to lose without bold climate
action.

Become an EDF Eco Partner and pledge a gift of $15 or more each month
to receive a pint-sized plush representation of the world's largest land predator.

The choice is yours - and whether you choose DDT Wars, a plush
monarch butterfly or a plush polar bear, your monthly contributions
will be helping to protect wildlife and their habitats every single
month.

Thank you for all your support,

Emily Stevenson
