“A majority of eligible Latinos didn’t choose Biden or Trump -- they chose NOT to vote” --FiveThirtyEight
Help turn out the Latinx vote >>> [link removed]
We’re proud of the work we did to register, mobilize, and turn out Latinx voters in swing states across the country . With the help of supporters like you, we registered over 75,000 people and worked to turn out 400,000 voters in Arizona and Georgia to deliver victories for Joe Biden and Democratic Senate candidates.
But the truth is that we still have a lot of work to do. Our margins of victory in swing states were incredibly narrow, and we still fell short in states with growing Latinx populations like Texas, North Carolina, and Florida.
However -- according to that same reporting from FiveThirtyEight, there’s good news:
“A big part of this is inviting Latinos to the table” --FiveThirtyEight
Did you catch that, John? The key to winning the Latinx vote is to engage Latinx voters . But we can’t wait to do that until three weeks before an election -- instead, we need to make consistent, sustained efforts to communicate with Latinx communities and get them energized about participating in democracy.
That’s exactly what we do at Voto Latino -- and supporters like you have helped us conduct research to make sure our model is scientifically proven. We work in communities across the country to activate the political power of Latinx communities. We know what works, but we need the resources to implement it -- and the time to start is right now .
Are you with us? Chip in right now to help us bring more Latinx voters to the table in 2022 and beyond.
