Apple’s latest software update is here. And with this update, you can opt-out of cross-app tracking from Facebook on your iPhone and put a stop to Big tech’s ability to track your activity across other apps.

When you open up apps like Facebook this week, just click “Ask App not to Track” on your iPhone. We made a new video on how easy it is to opt out of cross-app tracking that you can share online now with your friends and family:

Even if you don’t have an iPhone, we still need your help getting the word out. Big Tech companies like Facebook are counting on us to miss this push notification. But together, we can keep fighting for all companies to adopt these baseline privacy protections and to ban surveillance advertising for once and for all.

Thanks for being with us,

Jesse

As a small non-profit standing up to the world’s most powerful Big Tech companies, we need all the help we can get. Please consider chipping in to support Accountable Tech in this fight:

We recognize the irony of urging you to take action on the dominant social media platforms we’re fighting to hold accountable, but they are… well… dominant. We must reach people where they are in order to level the playing field.
