After ending the first quarter of 2021 on a high note -- we reached our quarterly fundraising goal, thanks to this team of grassroots supporters! -- Jared has already had a productive month. PAYCHECK FAIRNESS ACT:
Jared believes that if you are putting in the same hard work and getting the job done, you deserve equal pay. That’s why he was proud to support the bipartisan Paycheck Fairness Act, a bill that if enacted would help reduce the disparity in pay between men and women in America.

ADVOCATING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES:
Jared knows that our nation's small businesses depend on the USPS for fast, affordable, and reliable service, which is why he joined the House Committee on Small Business in sending a letter to Postmaster General DeJoy on how his price increases and service reductions at the USPS could make it even more difficult for small businesses to stay afloat.

GREAT FALLS FORUM:
Jared was honored to speak at this month’s Great Falls Forum at the Lewistown Public Library entitled “Polarization vs. Pragmatism: A Conversation about Maine’s Second Congressional District.” He tackled issues like how to fight polarization in America, the influence of big money in politics, and more.

READ ACROSS AMERICA CHALLENGE:
Jared enjoyed virtually reading The Gingerbread Cowboy to the students and teachers at Farmington Early Learning Center and Blue Hill Consolidated School as part of the Read Across America Challenge.
