That was our average grassroots donation during our campaign against Mike Garcia -- $5 from a public school teacher who knows that our students and school staff need more support, $30 from a plumber who wants to see unions like his protected by Congress.
It meant so much to us that people from our community stepped up to support our movement to elect a real leader for our district -- and we’re thrilled to see that grassroots support once again in 2021.
So far this year, our average grassroots donation is $23.79.
