“With the release of apportionment data, each state now needs to prepare for a fair and transparent redistricting process that includes input from the public... We’re going to do everything in our power to ensure the voices of the people are not silenced by bad maps.”
-- Eric H. Holder, Jr. |
I wanted you to be among the first to know -- the Census Bureau just released the new numbers of U.S. House seats allotted to each state.
Four of All On The Line’s target states -- Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia -- gained a combined total of four seats through reapportionment and will have a combined 94 congressional seats for the next decade.
Each of these four states is different and requires a customized, targeted strategy. We need proper resources and funds to ensure newly gained districts are fairly drawn.
Will you make a donation right now to support our plans to ensure maps, including new U.S. House seats, accurately represent the people?

Map manipulators are determined to hold onto power and will want to take advantage of newly gained districts to further their plans to gerrymander. But we know that they’ll also try to manipulate maps in states that lost districts. Pennsylvania and Ohio are also two of our target states, and they both lost representation.
We’re entering the next major fight in the battle to protect our democracy and must be prepared to make sure that the election maps of these states are fair and accurately reflect the people.
The All On The Line team is already deploying a state-by-state strategy to achieve fair maps, but we need your help to continue this work. Will you make a donation right now to help us ensure maps, including those impacted by any new or lost congressional districts, are fairly drawn?
Apportionment day is an exciting moment that can bring us one step closer to achieving fair maps across the country -- but it is also an opportunity for map manipulators to exploit to retain power. We must stay vigilant and ready to stop them.
Thanks,
Biz
