Roadworks

Friday 11 October - Monday 14 October: Collin Street Collin Street will be closed from 10pm Friday 11 October until 6am Monday 14 October as part of the renovations to intu Broadmarsh. Signed diversions will be in place, but this will severely affect traffic in the area, so we advise you allow more time for your journey if travelling through the city centre.
Upcoming Roadworks
Monday 16 September - 11 October: Clifton Lane Work to improve the cycle and pedestrian path along Clifton lane. More on this project here.
Monday 30 September - Tuesday 8 October: Western Boulevard junction with Beechdale Road Cadent gas main renewals. Lane closure northbound on Western Blvd. Left hand lane out of Beechdale closed and diversion in place.
Thursday 3 - Monday 7 October: Mansfield Road Lane closed outbound near Burnham Street for road repairs
Thursday 3 October - Sunday 2 November: Castle Boulevard, Wilford Street and Grey Friar Gate Off peak (9.30am-3.30pm) lane closures of resurfacing works
Friday 4 October - Thursday 10 October: Derby Road Emergency Gas Works. Lane closure outside NEMS Centre so Cadent Gas can repair leak.
Sunday 6 October: Alfreton Road Lane closure outside Canning Terrace for new Western Power Distribution connection
Monday 7 October - Friday 11 October: West Street Road closure outside 2-8 West Street for development works.
Monday 7 - Friday 18 October: Dalkeith Terrace Road closure for Severn Trent Water sewer repair works, signed diversion in place.
Monday 7 - Friday 18 October: Bottle Lane Road closure for district heating works
Saturday 12 - Sunday 13 October: Overnight closure of David Lane level crossing Closed overnight from 10.30pm - 9am for Network Rail maintenance works.
Tram stairs closed for repair
The stairs on Trent Street up to the Nottingham Station tram stop will be out of action from Saturday 28 September - Friday 18 October for maintenance work.
The platform can still be accessed via the steps on the railway bridge platform. A signed pedestrian diversion will be in place.
As people flock to Goose Fair this weekend remember that the tram and roads around The Forest will be busy.
