BIDEN 100 DAY COUNTDOWN John,
Before we close the book on President Biden’s first 100 days in office, we’re taking a closer look at how he has handled what will be one of the most defining challenges of his administration:
Confronting the Chinese Communist Party.
The CCP is growing more aggressive and unrelenting in achieving its goal of dominating the Indo-Pacific region. China’s military is doubling-down on their illegitimate occupation of the South China Sea, Beijing’s vice grip on Hong Kong is tightening, and top Pentagon officials are warning that Beijing could invade Taiwan within the decade.
Meanwhile, President Biden is proposing “inflation-adjusted defense cuts” and playing nice with China by hosting climate summits alongside Xi Jinping.
John, Mike hasn’t backed down from calling Biden’s proposal to reduce our defense budget in the face of China’s heightened aggression what it is: “pure insanity.”
Mike’s right. We must modernize our military and give our men and women in uniform the resources to fully counter the CCP and promote peace in the Indo-Pacific region –– and Mike is fighting to make that happen in Congress.
As we approach President Biden’s 100th day in office, it’s clear that his administration needs to act with a greater sense of urgency when confronting the CCP.
Before you go, will you sign our petition to tell President Biden to drop his proposed defense cuts and treat the threat of China with more urgency? Thank you, Team Gallagher
