On Wednesday night, President Biden will step up to the House podium for
his speech before a joint session of Congress. This is the president’s
first chance to unequivocally lay out his priorities for the next two
years — and that needs to include fixing our broken political system. 

We have two days to convince the president that he should make a strong
statement of support for the For the People Act on Wednesday night — and

and the nation: It’s time for our government to work for the American
people and their families, not billionaires and special interests. 

President Biden and his team want to keep public support for the
administration high, so they’ll be listening closely to the American
people when planning for Wednesday — waiting to see if the For the People
Act has enough public enthusiasm and support to be worth a precious spot
in this speech. 

Wednesday night can set the table for our victory or lead us on the path
