I just wrapped up an exclusive members-only policy meeting with Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan, and other leading conservatives in Washington, D.C. to discuss Joe Biden’s abhorrent and destructive “infrastructure” bill. I want to tell you a little bit more about it:
Biden’s “infrastructure” bill has little to do with infrastructure at all. You see, this is just another bill masked under the cloak of an important issue like infrastructure, but really it’s just another attempt to pass a Green New Deal bill through the U.S. House of Representatives.
Instead of focusing on roads, bridges, and rural broadband, this bill includes:
❌ $20 billion for racial equity and environmental justice
❌ $100 billion to make school lunches “greener” (whatever that means)
❌ $50 billion for the National Science Foundation
❌ $200 billion to “green up” our power grid
This is flat out WRONG. Once again, Democrats are using important issues - that could garner support from Republicans if given a legitimate piece of legislation - but instead are being used to pass Liberal Wish List Items like those I listed above.
This has to STOP!
