• Respond to attacks on abortion rights in states across the U.S. While Roe v. Wade remains the law of the land, access to abortion care has never been more precarious. Since 2011, nearly 500 restrictions on access to abortion have been passed in states across the country, and attacks from anti-abortion lawmakers aren't slowing down. We are bolstering our response at the state level by providing legal counsel, policy research, and advocacy support to reproductive health care providers, state legislators, and advocates.
  
  
• Protect and expand access to reproductive rights around the globe. The Center works in more than 60 countries fighting to defend reproductive rights from some of the most extreme restrictions in the world. Working both inside and outside the courts in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America, we have successfully blocked harmful legislation, won major human rights cases, and acted to hold governments accountable for protecting reproductive rights for all people.
  
  
• Secure federal protections for abortion access in the U.S. Earlier this year, members of Congress introduced the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act. We are proud to support this bill, which would finally reverse the harmful Hyde Amendment and related abortion coverage bans by ensuring every person who receives health care or insurance through the federal government would have coverage for abortion care.
