We can’t sit around and wait for another tragedy to strike, we must take action now before more lives are lost. Last month, universal background checks passed a major hurdle in Congress. And President Biden just announced a series of executive actions. But there’s still work to do.

And the thing is, the policies we know can make a difference have broad, bipartisan support nationwide. They can save lives in the neighborhoods, cities, and communities that need action on gun safety the most.

That’s why it’s crucial that we all speak up and let Congress know that it’s time to pass universal background checks. We can get it done, but only if we all do our part. Which is why today we have to ask:
