John, it’s Colin. I wanted to take a moment to tell you why I’m running for re-election to Congress. I hope you’ll read this whole message, but if you’re already on board, you can chip in now. Even $25 goes a long way.

I’ve been proud to represent the district where I was born and raised. In 2018 and 2020, without a dime of corporate PAC money, our people-powered campaign defied the odds and delivered resounding victories for the people of North Texas.

But John, I’m running because this is personal for me: I’ve been able to live my version of the American Dream and now I’m fighting everyday so each and every North Texan can have the opportunity to live their version of the American Dream.

I was born and raised in North Dallas by a loving single mother who taught in the Dallas public schools. After earning a full-ride football scholarship to Baylor University, I played in the NFL for 5 seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

I then went on to law school, became a civil rights attorney, and later served as Special Assistant in the Department of Housing and Urban Development during the Obama Administration. And now, I am honored to represent North Texas in Congress.

John, North Texas is one of the most dynamic and diverse communities in America, and our community deserves a leader in Washington who stands up for everyone rather than catering to special interests. I’m proud to be that leader, and my number one priority is and has always been delivering for hard-working families.

But special interests and Washington Republicans have already labeled me one of their top targets in 2022 -- making it clear that our ability to hold our Democratic Majority could come down to what happens right here in North Texas.

I am so grateful to have the support of this team as I work to deliver for North Texas. That’s why I have to ask: Can I count on you to chip in $32, or whatever you can, to keep TX-32 blue and maintain a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives?
