Teacher Data Literacy Week is Here

DQC’s most recent survey found that 89 percent of teachers want data about which of their students are furthest behind so that they can provide targeted interventions to get their students back on track for success.
In our 3rd annual Teacher Data Literacy Week, we will be discussing how data is key to helping students and educators navigate the remainder of this pandemic and begin to recover—and how teachers need training and time to use data to support their students.
Next week, we will be calling on leaders to prioritize teacher data literacy to ensure that teachers have the skills and training they need.
And on Thursday, we will be co-hosting a Twitter chat where we want to hear from you about why data literacy matters and how we can help empower educators with data. Join us at 3:00pm (ET) / 12:00pm (PT) with the hashtag #TDLmatters.
