The Carbon Reduction, Energy, and Sustainability Division is at the forefront of reducing Nottingham's and our regions envionmental impact, and is leading our aim for Nottingham to be carbon neutral by 2028

We are currently looking for an individual to join our Utilities Management team in managing and reducing our energy and water consumption across our estate to assist and support the service to ensure that the City Council and its partners uses its energy and water resources in the most effective and efficient manner to help Nottingham achieve its aims of Carbon Neutrality by 2028. The posts manages the electricity, gas, water and district heating accounts for the council across our operational and investment estate. As well as managing the accounts, the post is also crucial in identifying, surveying, and recommending changes to the ways that buildings operate, to use the lowest energy possible. As this post is important in recommending and implementing energy use strategies in buildings, experiance in operating Building Management Systems is important in this role

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*?


* Experience of working in an energy management function and engaging with other building users / owners
* Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify unusual data and discover the reasons for driving change
* Experience of working on projects and advising on issues related to carbon emissions in relation to a wide range of property types and operations
* Ability to analyse complex data, identify solutions, draw conclusions and communicate decisions taken
