Senate insurrectionist Ron Johnson spends a lot of time on the radio praising Trump and lying about our elections. But this week, he decided to attack his own constituents by claiming that stimulus checks were “given to people who didn't need them.”
While Johnson brags about “wanting to stand in the way of getting checks to everybody,” millions of working Americans are struggling to keep food on the table or a roof over their heads.
Johnson doesn't care about helping his constituents or the American people. We knew that the second he claimed that Capitol rioters were “people that love this country.”
If Johnson won't do his job, we need to do ours and defeat him in 2022. Wisconsin's Senate race is the most flippable race this cycle, believe us. Johnson only won re-election by 3 points in 2016 -- while Wisconsin's progressive senator, Tammy Baldwin, won re-election in 2018 by 11 points.
It's clear we can defeat Ron Johnson and expand our razor-thin Senate majority this cycle. We have the strategies, network of allies, and dedicated team to defeat powerful GOP incumbents, even if they have Donald Trump's endorsement. What we don't have yet are the funds.
