April 25, 2021
This past year our country, states, and communities have wrestled with dual pandemics--COVID-19 and racial injustice. The Senate Judiciary Committee has been at the center of debates over how to implement reforms that address racial equity and law enforcement reforms. As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I’ve participated in these debates and listened to testimony from reform advocates and law enforcement leaders. My April Town Hall meeting on Monday, April 26th at 7 pm focuses on the recommendation and implementation of Governor’s Commission on Law Enforcement Accountability, Community, and Transparency. I hope you can join us; a registration link is below.
