With only 11 days left until election day, we are preparing for a result that will see Greens elected to councils across England and Wales. In a recent poll on Westminster voting intentions, we came in as the third political party and we have hope that people across the country see that we aren't just writing fairytales. Instead, we are building plans and taking action for environmental, economic and social justice. More about the differences Greens make below 🔽

As pressure to show leadership on climate action grows, it is becoming increasingly evident that without a clear taxonomy for green investment the UK, government is likely to continue to invest in projects that undermine our ability to meet our Paris commitments. This special discussion of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Green New Deal, led by MPs Caroline Lucas and Clive Lewis, will explore how the remit of the UK infrastructure bank and the criteria for green savings bonds could advance, and not undermine the transition.
