Friend,

When Donald Trump was elected, donations surged into progressive
organizations and news outlets, including Common Dreams.

Those donations allowed us to expand our reach through the four years of
Trump's nightmare presidency and provide the news you count on every
day.

Now that Trump is gone, donations have fallen sharply across the
progressive movement, which is a huge problem.

You see, Common Dreams was never just about stopping Trump. We were
founded to inform, to inspire, and to ignite change for the common good.

And even with Trump gone, our biggest challenges remain: the climate
emergency, ecological collapse, corporate capture of democracy, wealth
and income inequality, social injustices of all stripes, and more.

These problems only got worse with Trump, but if donations continue to
fall, our ability to pursue this mission will inevitably be compromised.

We must make our goal of $70,000 by the end of the month to ensure that
we can keep fighting for progressive change and a better world. If
you're still with us, please chip in today.
