John -- We remember all too well the day that former President Donald Trump enacted his cruel Muslim Ban. Many of us flooded streets and airports in protest of the detainment and separation of families due to his shameful and xenophobic executive order.

Thankfully President Biden has reversed this racist and abhorrent act of the prior administration, but there is nothing stopping a future president from enacting a similar executive order.

Earlier this week, BNC Rep. Rashida Tlaib presided over the House debate on the NO BAN Act.

“As a child of immigrants and a mother raising two Muslim boys in the United States, I was part of a historic moment that demonstrated loud and clear that WE BELONG...We passed the NO BAN Act to repeal the racist and harmful Muslim and African ban.”

The National Origin-Based Antidiscrimination for Nonimmigrants Act (NO BAN Act, H.R. 1333) will prohibit discrimination on the basis of religion while also limiting executive authority to issue future travel bans.

This bill has passed the House. Now we are putting pressure on Senate Democrats to finish the job -- and eliminate the Jim Crow filibuster if Republicans get in the way.

Will you join Brand New Congress and sign the petition to tell the Senate to pass the NO BAN Act?

This is heartbreaking. There are families that remain separated today as a result of Trump’s cruel Executive Order from four years ago!

John, please add your name and demand the Senate pass the NO BAN Act immediately!

Let’s make sure something like this shameful executive order never happens again.

In Solidarity,

Brand New Congress
