We had a team meeting this week to discuss how to fight back against the NRA's six-figure ad spending and continue building grassroots support behind Lucy's fight for gun reform.

It became clear that in order to counter the NRA's pro-gun ads, we need to increase our own ads budget by quite a bit.

It's difficult to shift resources this late in the month, but if we see a surge in fundraising over the weekend, I can green-light the extra budget for our ads on Monday morning.

So, I'm looking for about 200 supporters to step up with a contribution now. If you've got Lucy's back against the NRA, will you pitch in?

Look, the NRA can't stand Lucy.

They've burned millions trying to defeat her because she's spent the last decade holding them accountable for their role in perpetuating the gun violence epidemic that has taken the lives of so many.

But they're not finished trying to stop us from passing gun safety legislation, so we've got to keep building grassroots support behind Lucy.

That's why it's important for us to get these ads up. Our movement for gun safety has strong support, but we need extra momentum to finish this fight.
