John,
Tomorrow night, Working Families Party members and activists are coming together at the WFP Assembly, our monthly virtual gathering where we recommit ourselves to each other and the movement.
On this month’s Assembly we will hear from Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, civil rights activist Alicia Garza of the Black to the Future Action Fund, and Dayton City Commissioner candidate Jared Grandy to discuss how we can transform our criminal justice system and why this is the moment to push for bold action.
RSVP to the join the WFP Assembly tomorrow, Sunday, April 25 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT featuring Larry Krasner, Alicia Garza, and Jared Grandy, and we’ll send you the link to join via phone or computer:

This past month, we were reminded again of the deep injustice of our policing and carceral systems. The Working Families Party is actively working towards a world where police and prisons don’t exist, a world where we invest in the promise of Black children by building strong, safe communities for them to thrive instead of cages and weapons to control them.
Our speakers tomorrow are leaders in transforming the criminal justice system to end racist and classist policies and stop those in charge of keeping us safe from hurting our communities.
Larry Krasner, Alicia Garza, and Jared Grandy work to dramatically reduce incarceration rates and end policies that hurt the most vulnerable in our society, like cash bail and the death penalty. They have shown how much progress can be made when our justice system is run and held accountable by those who work for the many, not the few.
Join us tomorrow night to learn how these champions are fighting to defund the police and build the country we want to live in, and how you can be a part of this movement.
