John,

First: President Biden was sworn in in January, and was supposed to reinstate an Obama-era order banning certain military equipment from being sold to law enforcement in one of his many executive orders.

Then: The flow of military equipment to police accelerated under the Biden administration. Apparently, President Biden bowed to pressure from police groups, and that's why he didn't reinstate the Obama-era order halting the equipment.

Now: We're demanding that President Biden #End1033 -- the program that the federal government uses to sell military weapons to police -- altogether.

No president should respond to the countless murders of Black people by police by succumbing to pressure from the police themselves -- and the President must respond to the people's demand to immediately end the program. Take less than 2 minutes to tell President Biden #End1033 before his 100th day in office >>

TELL BIDEN #END1033

The 1033 Program allows for the purchase of military-style weapons for police departments across the country -- including campus and school police.

Can President Biden tell us why we need military-style weapons in our schools? Can he tell us why we need military-style weapons in our communities? In our streets? In our grocery stores and parks?

Can anyone tell us how this could possibly be a sensible thing to do?

If President Biden could listen to police telling him to uphold the 1033 program, then he can and should definitely listen to the countless people across the country that it's actually impacting. That's us, John, and we need to speak out.

April 30th marks President Biden's 100th day as president -- that's less than a week away.

President Biden needs to know: The clock is ticking. And it's time for him to do right by the countless people calling on him to stop enabling white supremacists through the 1033 program. Click here to add your name to demand that President Biden #End1033 by his 100th day in office.
