Dear John,

Art is a powerful medium that can help us imagine a cleaner, healthier and happier world. Austin Lee, an artist, shared his vision with us in the piece Rendered Birds.

"I love birds and computers and nature and people and I don't think these have to be at odds. I am hopeful that there are solutions to environmental challenges that can make a safer world for everyone."

What is your vision of the future? Do you see your children riding an electric school bus? Do you see windmills powering the countryside? Or do you see electric vehicle charging stations at every park?

Calling all creators: Show us what it looks like to Go Bold on climate!

We want you to share a bold vision of how you imagine the world with 100% clean energy by 2050. Whether you’re an artist or an environmentalist we hope that you can share your vision with the world by entering the 2021 Go Bold Art Contest.

Create. Imagine. Collaborate. Submit your art today!

Submissions may include: paintings, drawings, collages, prints, photographs, mixed media, videos, digitally created artwork, (photos of) sculptures, writing and more.

Artists can share their pieces online through the: Go Bold Art Contest Form. Please email [email protected] with questions.

All submissions are due no later than May 30th, 2021 — and selected artwork will be viewable online on June 4th, 2021. Selected pieces will be shared via EDF’s social media, website, and included in Solutions, EDF’s quarterly magazine.
