We normally wouldn’t email you on a Saturday. But as the end of the month
approaches and we’re taking stock of our fundraising, we’re concerned about our
next fundraising deadline.

Why is this urgent enough to bug you about on your weekend? Let us explain.
We’re at a pivotal moment in American history, with a perilously fragile
majority in the Senate. Chuck’s leadership can make or break what we’re able to achieve. Put more simply, here’s what’s on the line: 

✔️ The boldest recovery plan our country has ever seen

✔️ An infrastructure revitalization plan that will prevent climate,
transportation, and social catastrophe

✔️ A federal voter protection law that would fight back against the
anti-democratic, unjust voter suppression efforts

You can help Chuck make progress possible by pitching in today. [link removed] But to get more clear, here’s what we need to make these things happen: 

✔️ A Democratic majority with a leader who will get votes in and bills signed

✔️ Support from folks like you to expand and protect that majority -- which
we’re within one seat of losing

✔️ Clear signals to our opponents that we’re gaining strength, not losing it.

These early fundraising deadlines matter. Come May, we’ll still be looking back
to gauge how strong support for our Democratic majority is. Our opponents will
too, and with a razor-thin Democratic majority, it’ll be easy for them to find
weakness if we come up short.
