Arena Community,
These past few weeks, have once again reminded us that elected officials at every level of government are failing us.
They fail us when they don’t stand up to hate, when they refuse to protect our communities from violence, when they push through voter suppression laws. The list goes on and on.
In 2022, thousands of state and local elected officials and every single member of Congress will be up for re-election -- including the 139 members of Congress who voted to overturn President Biden’s clear victory.
One of the best ways to hold these elected officials accountable is to vote them out of office. To do this, we need trained staffers who have the skills to build winning campaigns.
Apply to Arena Academy by 11:59 p.m. ET tomorrow, Sunday, April 25, to gain the skills you need to elect inspiring leaders.
Depending on the track you take, you’ll learn how to write a campaign plan, build a campaign budget, run digital ads, raise money, or use data to turn key communities out to vote. You’ll also learn how to combat misinformation, be more aware of your unconscious bias, and work together with others who are passionate like you.
Arena Academy will help you take your skills to the next level so you can play a critical role in holding bad actors accountable.
You deserve to lead. And we deserve better elected leaders.
Apply to Arena Academy by 11:59 p.m. ET this Sunday, April 25.
If Academy is not for you, forward this email to someone you think should apply and spread the word on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Thanks,
Julia Leitner
Arena Training Director
