It’s World Day for Animals in Labs! Do you know that as many as 110 million mice and rats will die in U.S. laboratories this year? Many people don’t, because animals in labs suffer unseen. That’s why World Day for Animals in Labs was established in 1979. It’s a day to raise awareness about the millions of animals suffering in research and testing, and to take action to help them. While AAVS works every day to help animals in laboratories, World Day for Animals in Labs is a chance to unite our collective voices about the tremendous suffering that mice, rats, and other animals endure. Will you help? AAVS has created four eye-catching graphics that you can share with family, friends, and others so they have the facts about the plight of animals in labs. You can also help spare animals from suffering by supporting legislation to end animal testing. We’ve made it quick and easy!
