We Put the Community First

John, a vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote for councillors who will listen to your concerns and act on them.

Take a look at my council in South Cambridgeshire. A Liberal Democrat majority was elected in 2018 and immediately we set to work, talking to locals to find out what means the most to them.

As Cabinet Member for Planning Policy and Delivery, I helped plan and participated in community engagement events for our new local plan using new online methods. We reached over 6,000 people at events and also had over 30,000 views of our information videos on our websites and social media channels.

Now South Cambridgeshire District Council is building on local priorities, drawing up a climate-focused Local Plan in collaboration with Cambridge City Council.
