This is sure to be a discussion you won’t want to miss.

Dear John--

One year ago, then-candidate Biden called on Trump to take immediate steps toward sanctions relief in a pandemic, and recognized that U.S. sanctions impede the flow of medicines and essential goods to Iran. However, while Iran is suffering through its fourth Covid wave, the Biden administration is yet to lift any of Trump’s sanctions.

Join me tomorrow on Saturday, April 24th at 12:30 pm PT, for a panel on Sanctions and Blockade Day of Action, to discuss not only the devastating impact of sanctions on Iran, but also the blockade on Yemen and sanctions on Venezuela. Hosted by Lift the Sanctions Campaign and cosponsored by groups such as RootsAction, Progressive Democrats of America, World Beyond War, CODEPINK and more.

This is sure to be a discussion you won’t want to miss. I’ll be joining experts on Iran, Yemen and Venezuela, including: Hanieh Jodat Barnes from the Lift the Sanctions Campaign, Dr. Aisha Jumaan of Yemen Relief & Reconstruction Foundation, Professor Shireen Al-Adeimi, Venezuela's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Carlos Ron, and Leonardo Flores from CODEPINK.

You can register for the event here!

Hope to see you there!
