Note from Chairman Stepanek Friend,
It’s alarming to see Kamala Harris visiting our state in the midst of the largest migrant surge we’ve seen in 20 years. This worsening crisis was the direct result of decisions made by Biden and Harris. Harris was put in charge of overseeing and solving this crisis yet she hasn’t traveled to the border to solve this crisis. Going in the exact opposite direction. This should concern all Americans who have seen no actions taken whatsoever in regards to our southern border.
This past week, I had the opportunity to speak with Republican National Committee Members from across the country regarding the Biden administration’s sluggish response to the crisis facing the American people. Over 50% of citizens disapprove of the administration's handling of this crisis and Granite Staters will agree in conveying that sentiment. We were joined at lunch yesterday by Texas Governor Greg Abbot, who talked in detail about the lengths the State of Texas has had to take to supplement the failed Federal response to our Southern Border Crisis. This is a deep concern amongst Republican leaders, which is why so many of them are visiting the border themselves to gauge the problem. Instead of neglecting the most important issue on her agenda, Kamala Harris should take the lead to tackle this devastating crisis. While at the RNC Meeting in Dallas, New Hampshire joined forces with the Iowa, South Carolina, and Nevada Republican Committees to host a hospitality hour. This event went to great lengths to promote our First-in-the-Nation Primary and the 4 carve out states in our Republican nominating calendar displayed unity at the national level.
We’re lucky that here in New Hampshire, our state has had the benefit of strong leadership under Governor Chris Sununu. Unlike our Federal delegation, Governor Sununu has worked tirelessly to the benefit of Granite Staters, and the proof of this lies in the data. A recent UNH poll showed that over two-thirds of New Hampshire residents approve of Governor Sununu’s work navigating the pandemic, with a 93% approval rating amongst Republicans and 74% amongst Independents. Strong leadership here in N.H, has led to the state being ranked number one for weeks in terms of administering the highest percentage of delivered vaccines. Our Federal administration should take note of successful state leadership, and apply these same common-sense skills towards national issues before states are forced to suffer the consequences of their weak leadership.

Republican Spotlight: Lili Walsh In this week’s republican spotlight, we are highlighting Lilli Walsh. Lilli Walsh has been an incredible asset since she started assisting in N.H politics. In her time with us, she has volunteered a great deal time for events as well as even hosting some events in her own home.
She was heavily involved in the 2020 election cycle, and we appreciate her dedication to supporting conservative leadership in N.H. She also holds two leadership positions. She is the Rockingham County Republican Committee Area 2 chair, and the Hampstead/Kingston GOP chair, along with being involved with the New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women.
We would like to say thank you for all the work that Lilli Walsh has put in to make the republican party strong in New Hampshire.
