Congregational Excellence Announces Staff Departure
Tammy Calcote is leaving the Missouri Annual Conference office after 19+ years. Calcote has served the Conference through a variety of positions including Finance and Administration, Connectional Ministries, Camping & Retreat Ministries, Assistant to the Bishop for African American Leadership, Center for Pastoral Excellence and the Center for Congregational Excellence where she served for the past 14 years alongside Bishop Bob Farr and Rev. Dr. Roger Ross. In her capacity as Executive Assistant for the Center of Congregational Excellence, she worked with language-based ministries and church transformation and served as administrative liaison to church planters and new churches. Tammy’s last day will be April 30 before heading into new places to learn new things for her next chapter. The Congregational Excellence staff will be thinking through the transition for the near-term and have plans to hire quickly for this position.
