Just two years ago Representative Ocasio-Cortez joined Senator Ed Markey
to unveil the Green New Deal, a solution to climate change that would
transform our country’s energy infrastructure, slow down climate change
and boost the real economy along the way.

Since then, the call for a Green New Deal has spread throughout the
country with millions of Americans coming together in support of this
critical legislation.

Now with millions of Americans standing by their side, Senator Markey and
Representative Ocasio-Cortez have reintroduced the Green New Deal for
2021.

While climate change sometimes doesn't get the attention it deserves, it’s
by far the biggest threat to our country and our world. Even though the
scientific process continues to confirm this, we are not doing enough to
prevent the worst impacts of this crisis.

The Green New Deal will create millions of renewable energy jobs,
drastically cut carbon emissions, and help avert the worst impacts of
climate change.
