Historic

This week, Governor Holcomb and legislative leaders came to agreement on the next state budget. The only word to describe this budget is historic. Because of conservative fiscal management, a COVID response that balanced lives and livelihoods, and quick economic bounce back, Indiana is able to invest in our people, communities, infrastructure, and schools unlike ever before. Indiana accomplished these things while paying off long-term debt and without raising taxes and making the drastic cuts that other states have had to make. Under Governor Holcomb, Indiana is roaring back!

I spent a good portion of this week in Dallas for a Republican National Committee meeting. There is a good amount of excitement and enthusiasm among Republicans nationwide for the upcoming 2022 elections. After roughly 100 days of the Biden administration, we know how important it is to break the Democrat stranglehold on power in Washington. It seems that every day that passes, Pelosi, Biden, and the Squad come up with a new leftwing idea that they want to use your tax dollars to pay for. Meanwhile, our border is overrun, spending is out of control, and our standing on the world stage grows weaker. A unified GOP will help get our country back on track in 2022, and this week’s meetings in Dallas were an important step in that direction.

Thanks

Kyle

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was

Next Level Wins

This week, Governor Holcomb and our state's legislative leaders announced our next state budget. This budget plan is truly historic because we are able to invest in Hoosiers, infrastructure and education unlike ever before. Thanks to Governor Holcomb's fiscally conservative leadership we were able to accomplish this without raising taxes and making drastic cuts like other state's have had to make. Under this budget plan, we're making historic investments in Hoosier teachers and education. A record breaking $1.9 billion new dollars will go toward K-12 education.
