*Daily activities of the role:*

To provide effective project leadership and management for the implementation of EV charging points across the Council's fleet, public sector organisations and other workplaces within the D2N2 area as well as project managing the installation of?EV charge points in respect of the Council's Electric Van Experience.

Whilst leading on the procurement of technical goods and taking responsibility for financial management, the job holder will be required to undertake site investigation and development, presenting proposals and business cases, overseeing the EV installation programme and indentifying and allocating the appropriate resources to each task.

Identifying new and future technologies and innovation in the field of sustainable electrical works, assess their value for money and viability for use by the council and lead on service and operationsal changes need to be able to succesfully deliver these changes.

*Essential Requirements:*

Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience of successfully managing mechanical and electrical teams and projects.

Must hold the minimum of a level 3 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and PRINCE2 practitioner qualification or equivalent project management qualification.

Possess significant detailed technical knowledge of EV charging point technologies and other sustainable infrastructure.

Ability to introduce innovative practices.
