The manicured gardens and beautiful ruins of Newstead Abbey and the spectacular Elizabethan mansion and park at Wollaton are once again offering a fantastic season of open air theatre performances throughout the summer.

The season includes performances for all, from Mr Stink - the David Walliams best seller, to classic Shakespeare - A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Much Ado About Nothing.

A new film and food festival will be visiting Nottingham this summer as part of a national tour with four days of open-air cinema, local street food and live comedy.

There will also be mouth-watering street food from local traders, curated by Street Food Warehouse. Visitors can expect everything from gourmet burgers and bruschetta to crepes and caramel ice-cream, along with a bar serving beers and bespoke cocktails.
