As we celebrate Earth Day today, there’s no better way to recommit to the fight for our planet’s future than by showing support for the Green New Deal.

This week, Barbara joined Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Ed Markey in reintroducing the landmark Green New Deal resolution.

The Green New Deal lays out a 10-year transformational framework that would put millions to work in green jobs modernizing our infrastructure, reduce air and water pollution, and make environmental justice a national priority.

We already see the effects of the climate crisis here in California with increasingly devastating wildfires, and climate scientists have warned that we are running out of time to address it.
