Take action this Earth Day.

Happy Earth Day, John!

Every year on this date, people around the world celebrate Earth Day — pledging to take action to protect our planet and preserve it for future generations.

With the escalating crisis of climate change, the message of Earth Day couldn’t be more important this year.

But it isn’t just another day for Val. As Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, she has taken action to help transition county electricity to 100 percent wind energy, and pledged that all county buildings and vehicles will run on renewable energy by 2050. And she’s preserved hundreds of acres of farmland and built miles of county trails. As a U.S. Senator, she’ll fight to put the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and our country on a similar path.

From local governments to the White House, it’s crucial that leaders at every level of government act urgently to address climate change with policies that protect our environment and create good-paying union jobs at the same time.

If you agree that the time is now to act boldly to combat climate change, will you add your name to our list of Climate Champions in honor of Earth Day?

Yes, I’m a Climate Champion.

Thank you for speaking out proudly as a Climate Champion. We’re showing Val the list of folks who signed on tomorrow morning, and she’ll be so excited to see your name.
