We’re thinking about the fundamentals on this Earth Day, John —

Things like: *
Making
sure
everyone
in
California
has
access
to
clean
drinking
water.
*
Improving
the
health
of
California’s
forests
and
the
safety
of
our
communities.
*
Mitigating
wildfire
damage
*
Cleaning
up
toxic
lead
contamination

something
that
predominantly
impacts
Black
and
Latino
Californians

The conditions in California are growing more extreme – and Democratic leaders are proactively working to tackle exacerbated drought conditions in our Golden State. Governor Newsom just signed a landmark $536 million Wildfire and Forest Resilience Action Plan — an early investment to protect high-risk communities ahead of peak fire season.

When communities like yours are already feeling the impact of climate change, it’s tragic that instead of fighting climate change, Republicans would rather push their latest scheme to distract California - recalling Governor Gavin Newsom.

John: we are focused on one thing – and that’s helping every person recover. That’s why the California Democratic Party is standing in solidarity with Gavin and letting him know that we have his back!
