Derek Chauvin is guilty. But justice is more than one verdict.

Hello,

The guilty verdict is in, but no jury’s decision can bring back George Floyd, or undo the pain felt by his family, his friends and his community

We can and must do everything in our power to ensure that no family goes through this again and to defeat systemic racism in all its forms. While it's going to take more than one verdict and one trial to overcome that, it shouldn't stop us from delivering change in George Floyd's name.

Earlier this year, the House reintroduced and passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which boosts accountability and makes it easier to punish police misconduct, bans chokeholds and no-knock warrants, and much more.

If we’re going to create the change policing desperately needs, we must demand this legislation is passed in the Senate right away.

Will you become a citizen co-sponsor of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act by adding your name in support now?
ADD YOUR NAME This is a critical moment in the fight against police brutality and reforming policing around the country. We must demand action to save lives and move our country forward.

Thank you for doing your part,
