As Attorney General, Aaron Ford is working every day to fight for all Nevadan families against injustice. Here are some of the key issues he’s worked on:

→ Filed over a dozen lawsuits against the Trump administration for eliminating food assistance for 700,000 Americans, for not counting all Nevadan residents in the 2020 census, for building an illegal border wall, for attacking our right to vote by mail, and for making unlawful changes to the USPS.

→ Led a new way forward for criminal justice reform in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death. AG Ford brought together law enforcement, elected officials, and community advocates for a series of five roundtables & discussions on how Nevada can improve the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Now, Aaron is working with the Nevada Legislature on several bills regarding criminal justice reform.

→ Reached multi-million dollar consumer settlements against large multinational companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Home Depot, Neiman Marcus, Honda, and Equifax for violating the rights of Nevada consumers. This includes McKinsey & Co, who settled with the state of Nevada for $45 million over their role in the opioid crisis.

Now, with AG Ford only having won in 2018 by 5,000 votes, we can’t take his re-election for granted. A Republican has already announced to run against him, and we are expecting National Republicans to invest big here in Nevada.
