1. DC residents have NO vote in Congress and no representation in the Senate -- despite having 700,000 residents, paying taxes, with the majority wanting to be a state.

2. DC's population is comparable to several other states -- including Alaska, Wyoming, and Delaware.

Statehood doesn't just make sense, John, this is the right thing to do for DC residents who deserve the same representation every other American is entitled to.
