John — Let’s look at the facts.
FACT: Our climate is changing.
FACT: These irreversible changes are being driven by human behavior,
emissions, and pollutants.
FACT: Our window to act, if we want any hope of mitigating regional and
global climate-induced catastrophic events, is closing fast. Some climate
experts warn that window may have already passed.
The issue isn’t that Republicans don’t “believe” in climate change.
Climate change isn’t the tooth fairy or a ghost. It doesn’t magically
disappear if you don’t “believe” in it. It is a global phenomenon that is
happening as we speak and the data, science, and facts behind it are
irrefutable.
Belief isn’t part of the equation. But Republican obstruction — of green
energy research, renewable energy production, environmental protections,
efficiency standards — are.
Our country and our planet cannot afford for action to be obstructed by
Republicans who deny the reality and science of our changing climate.
This Earth Day, take the pledge: [ [link removed] ]I will not vote for politicians who
deny the reality of climate change or who believe it is a hoax.

We’re working to create political consequences for the Republicans who
deny the reality of climate change.
