Hi there, it’s been a busy month, and we here at HQ wanted to keep grassroots supporters like you updated on our campaign! Read on for some key highlights:
COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout
Every New Jersey resident sixteen and up now qualifies for a vaccine! This is great news for NJ-5, and it means our children will be able to get back to school soon safely. We are grateful for the progress we’ve made as a state and country, Josh even suited up and helped UPS deliver vaccine supplies! Take a look:
We’re not out of the woods yet, but we’re getting there — and now everyone in New Jersey must do their part.

SALT Repeal
We’re well on our way to making life more affordable for homeowners in New Jersey and across the country — with the newly formed SALT caucus on our side (and Josh at the helm), Congress is poised to repeal the Trump-era cap on State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction.
With this repeal, we’ll help lower taxes for families in New Jersey, help raise property values, and stem the tide of people, jobs, and businesses leaving Jersey.
Saving Child Care
Though the light is at the end of the tunnel, plenty of industries are still suffering amid the pandemic — none more so than child care.
That’s why we’re proud to report that Josh helped secure $10 million in CARES Act funding for New Jersey child care providers!
We’re on our way to ensuring that all small businesses survive, and when folks return to the office, they have this vital resource to ensure the safety of their kids.
We’re so thrilled with the progress we’re making — and it’s all thanks to grassroots supporters like you. Together we’re doing great things, and I’m hopeful that we can keep it up.
But the challenges are already starting. National Republicans are already gearing up to take Josh down, and that’s why now is such a critical moment.
Will you consider chipping in to our campaign to ensure that these wins keep coming?
Thanks!
Everyone at Gottheimer HQ
