Happy Earth Day, folks!

Here in Pure Michigan, our Great Lakes are our way of life. We know how important our natural resources are -- and how important it is to protect them.

I’ve been working to protect our environment since my first day in Congress. When I learned that our country was facing a critical backlog in recycling supply chains, I took the lead on the House Committee on Science to facilitate investment in recycling technologies and launched the Congressional Plastics Solutions Task Force to proactively solve this problem.

Now with President Biden in the White House, we have the opportunity to make real progress on climate change. The President’s American Jobs Plan will make big investments in clean infrastructure and put Michiganders to work in good-paying jobs that keep our state clean and healthy. Our Democratic House Majority is ready to answer his call!
