Join Our Movement Why Did Some Republicans Oppose the National Marrow Donor Program? Hello John, the House just passed a bill to reauthorize the National Marrow Donor Program and the National Cord Blood Inventory, which serve an important purpose: the programs were created to help match bone-marrow donors and cord-blood units to cancer patients who need the aid to survive. The Bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support -- only two representatives voted against the bill... One of the two “No” votes was Marjorie Taylor Greene. The other was the usual suspect, Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert. Lauren Boebert is no stranger to embarrassing her constituents in DC, yet this vote was still a stunning new low point. Guaranteeing aid to people with leukemia and other major diseases is something that we should all be able to agree on. And almost everybody in the House did agree on it — just not Lauren Boebert. John, will you help us show Lauren Boebert how widespread the support for the National Marrow Donor Program is by calling Representative Boebert's Congressional office and demand she issue an apology? If you live within Representative Boebert's district (CO-03), please contact her Congressional office at (202) 225-4761 and demand that she apologize for her shortsighted vote against the health of our fellow Americans. Thank you, John Sincerely, The CTP Staff Chip In Today The Colorado Turnout Project
