Our country has been rocked by shooting after shooting these past several weeks. Just two days ago a man shot up a grocery store on Long Island. And STILL Senate Republicans continue to block efforts to pass meaningful gun safety legislation.

We’re talking about background checks (which the vast majority of Americans support by the way!). We’re talking about closing the gun show loophole, and making sure dangerous individuals can’t get their hands on assault weapons.

Because no one should have to worry about getting shot at a salon or the grocery store.
