To recap the conversation, Jena corrected this false narrative with nothing more than the facts. Colorado had the second-highest voter turnout rate in the nation during the pandemic and more Coloradans voted than ever before in the 2020 general election. Furthermore, we are number one in the nation for the percentage of eligible people registered to vote.

She went on to point out that even though our electoral system has bipartisan support and was initially implemented by her Republican predecessor, like conservative lawmakers across the nation, Colorado GOP members have attempted to legislatively suppress Colorado voters.
There are over 360 bills introduced in 47 state legislatures to suppress Americans’ voices.
