Hello,
On this Earth Day, I want to take a moment to celebrate New Jersey’s natural beauty and our work to protect our environment.
You may know New Jersey for the Shore, but our state has some of the most diverse topography in the nation. From the Kittatinny Mountains down to the beaches of Cape May, there’s so much that makes New Jersey a special place.
That’s why it’s so important we do everything we can to protect it. In honor of Earth Day, please add your name to show your commitment to protecting our environment >>
Over the last three-plus years, we have taken important steps to grow our green economy and tackle climate change head-on.
We’re putting more electric vehicles on the road, rejoining the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, banning offshore drilling in state waters, and using more clean energy to power our state.
Last year, I signed landmark environmental justice legislation to end a decades-old imposition of pollutants on our Black and Brown communities. And, we have become the first state in the country to adopt a climate change curriculum in our K-12 classrooms.
We’re back to following science, not politics. But we can’t stop now.
Add your name to show your commitment to building on our progress and protecting New Jersey for generations to come. It’s going to take all of us to protect our only home >>
Thank you for all you do to make New Jersey a better place for all of us. I hope you will take some time today to appreciate all the natural wonders our state has to offer.
Onwards,
Phil
