This Earth Day, it’s critical that we recommit to creating a greener future.

As climate change threatens communities from coast to coast -- and across the globe -- we must recognize that it’s up to us to ensure that our children and grandchildren inherit a world that can sustain them.

That’s why I’ve recently introduced legislation directing the Biden administration to complete negotiations on the Environmental Goods Agreement, which will incentivize a greener global economy and the production of energy solutions that will minimize our dependence on fossil fuels.

This is about more than reducing our carbon footprint -- it’s about doing our duty to future generations. Finalizing the Environmental Goods Agreement is a critical step on the path to solving our climate crisis.
