There is no reasonable explanation why the president has not raised the refugee ceiling.
John,
Earlier this year, President Biden announced his intention to raise the refugee ceiling to 62,500 for this fiscal year. Yet, we still wait for formal action from his administration.
There is no reasonable explanation why the president has not raised the refugee ceiling.
With one signature, he can extend the nation’s welcoming hand -- not to mention improve our security and begin to restore our nation’s standing as a humanitarian leader.
The Forum is mobilizing constituents across the country to urge President Biden to raise the refugee ceiling. But to expand our reach, we need the resources to carry out our efforts.
Will you make a gift today and help support our mobilizing work to urge the President to keep his promise to refugees? Chip in here >>
When elected to office, President Biden assured the public that he would take swift action to rebuild the U.S. refugee resettlement program, but refugees and their families are still waiting for him to act.
This delay ultimately means that refugees are left in limbo. Many are forced to remain in unsafe conditions or remain separated from family members in the United States. President Biden must
restore the United States as a welcoming country to refugees.

Thank you for all your support in working toward positive immigration solutions for refugees.
With gratitude,
